Kindergarten

  • English

Through the Phonics scheme, we strive to develop children into fluent readers and good spellers. We adopt Phonics 44, a system of spelling pattern progression devised by Dr. Joyce Morris. Children learn the relationship between the speech sounds (phonemes) of standard English and alphabet letters (graphemes). Daily activities such as stories, rhymes, songs and games help children build up their vocabulary and grammar.

  • Bahasa Malaysia

A set of learning aids specially designed according to the Montessori concept enables children to learn the language at their own pace. From the alphabet to 'ayat' and 'permahaman', our unique learning style creates a love for our national languages.

  • Mathematics

Children are surrounded by a world of Mathematics long before they begin to deal with abstract symbols and formulae. They will find Mathematics in things they see and touch. We will help them explore with hands-on materials designed to create an enjoyable approach to arithmetic and geometry.

  • Practical Life

Series of exercises, such as pouring, dressing, sorting and social skills satisfy growing children's desire for independence. They build self-esteem which is indispensable to healthy social and intellectual progress.

  • Sensorial

Children love to explore shapes, textures, tastes and sounds through their senses. Specially designed apparatus such as the Pink Tower, Colour Boxes, Thermic Tablets and Sound Boxes help children sharpen their senses. Activities involve grading and matching shapes, colours, sounds and weights. Sensorial exercises help to fine tune children's mathematical skills.

  • Filework

Worksheets are tailored according to each child's need. Exercise in pre-writing, pre-reading and pre-maths skills enable the children to establish basic skills and progress to complex skills and progress to complex skills according to individual ability. Each child's progress is monitored daily to ensure he or she is coping well.

  • Cultural Studies

Children fir experience culture (geography, history, music, art and natural science) at the concreate level. Activities include music and movement, puppet play, puzzle maps and national flags for geography, time lines for history, simple science experiments like the three states of water and various art and craft activities.

"The role of education is to interest the child profoundly in an external activity to which he will give his potential."
